Her name fits her quite well actually, because she is a Princess at her worst.
Heaven forbid she can't sleep in comfort, or even be covered when she is cold. Don't bother feeding her unless there is wet food to mix with her disgusting dog food.
She is playful and fun, and loves to cuddle. I will admit I was nervous for Landon to come, because she liked her space and was NOT about change.
Then the terminator came along, my little man..and the princess had to share her space. Everyone was wondering how it would go, I even had offers from my parents to keep her. She truly was my first born without the pain of labor, and I was going to make this work.
The first week Bella just shook. She was never around an infant. She didn't know what to do when he cried, she would just shake and be on the opposite side of the room. I am a single momma doing it all, so to make sure they were both getting enough attention and I was SANE was an accomplishment in itself if I do say so.
Bella realized that Landon was going no where without her, and she began to adapt. I will say it is a true blessing that it takes babies awhile to learn to do things so they could learn with each other. If Landon would have came home crawling, we would be done for.
As time went on, Bella loved being by Landon. Could be that Landon got attention and she knew she would be blessed if she stayed near by. There is no way at this point, she would have tolerated Landon to chase her around, but he was a nice buddy that couldn't move around.
Then a bond formed. A bond I never imagined. Bella is his protector, and he loves her more than anything (sometimes I think me). He distinctly said Bella before mom. He wants to be wherever Bella is, go outside WHENEVER Bella does. Although Bella is annoyed by him chasing him, she sucks it up and kisses him and plays back.
They are Best Friends,
and I couldn't be happier <3
