How Will I Feed You?

My child is a pig. Actually this is an understatement. I call him hammy (i will probably give him a complex) but this boy can eat and he is 8 MONTHS OLD! 

I was at Applebees today with my younger sister Mallory. We were celebrating our last day of class..well before finals begin next week.

I had to order Landon (8 months old) his own meal...yes his own meal from the kids menu. 

He had a grilled cheese, some applesauce, broccoli, with a little apple juice and some water. 

I am afraid for him to grow up...if he eats this well already... i can't imagine in 5 years...or worse...high school..

Feels great to be back. I am now a MAC user, and still learning the basics. Feel free to fill me in on the multiple things i have yet to figure out.

The Little Moments I Never Want to Forget

I realize Landon won't be in my bed forever (at least I sure hope not). Well let me say this, he starts off in his crib, but lately due to the lack of sleep on both our parts i have been trasferring him to bed with me. I sleep, he sleeps=heaven!

I love to rub his palms up his arms with my finger tip, around his little face, he loves it. My mother did this to me before i fell asleep, and i still remember hoping she would come in my oom each night because I looked forward to it.

Lately he has been returning the favor, to relax himself to sleep he will caress my arms, face anything to make himself feel safe. If I roll to my side, he rolls to his side so he knows his momma is near. I will admit he invades my sleeping bubble, but how can my heart not melt for the love he has for me.

First Snow

Michigan winter is here.

Landon experienced his first snowfall today. His first reaction was a wide eyed shocked expression. What is falling from the sky? He looked around in amazement.

Bella was about as excited as he was, running though the snow with her frizbee!

Why Not?

A good friend of mine today, Tina, made a comment to me how she can't remember her boys (5 of them) being babies. Her youngest is 5 now, and she looks back through pictures and can remember the moments, but it is all a haze. I am not ready for this to be a haze. I want to remember the details.

So 7 months later I am beginning a blog I wish I started while pregnant.

Better late than never, right?

He is sleeping right now...how long...never can tell...ahhhh teething!

Even with the chaos that surrounds us..mom a full time student raising a 7 month old on her own... I couldn't imagine it any other way... :)

I couldn't be more in love ....
